There’s a saying that there’s only two kinds of people: those who have lost data and those who will.
I probably belong into both groups – not only have I lost truckloads of data in the past, but recent events show me that there will always be a slight chance to lose data, no matter how care- and thoughtful you are.
To make a long story short: my server crashed, the backup was corrupted, I had to have the data on the hard disks retrieved and the server reinstalled – all that while being head-down in the video2brain recording studio for my Android 2 Tutorial.
Alas, the task has now been fulfilled, the server is back online – there might be still a few rough edges, but it’s back on. *phew*

I admit it: I’m an Agile Development freak. And even when I’m just planning my own week, I’m glad I’m doing it.

Today, Adobe announced that its new Creative Suite 5 will hit the shelves on April 12, 2010. After Adobe got much heat about performance and stability issues in the Creative Suite 4, there’s a good chance that the new set of creative products will meet the high expectations in the creative community. Public betas and [...]

Finally, skiller.eu gets a major overhaul. You probably already know that programmers and other web professionals who mainly work as free lancer usually turn to their own sites last, so it turned out I am no exception. Not that I didn’t have ambitious plans with this site – there was just too much that got [...]
